How we choose films
The Birkbeck Film Society is run by members for members.
Any member can suggest a film for screening. The Committee will also solicit nominations from our patrons and assemble a shortlist from the nominations. If there are more films than the society can show in our next season, we may ask members to vote for which films they would like to see.
We encourage members to come forward with ideas: getting speakers together, managing discussions, running additional events, anything that makes our society unique and enjoyable!
