Design
The Birkbeck Cinema is situated within Birkbeck's fabulous Centre for Film and Visual Media. Completed in February 2007, the centre was designed by Surface Architects. Their ingenious design tucks a contemporary 70-seat screening room behind the Grade II listed Victorian facade of 39-41 Gordon Square.
